Designed for long-lasting performance, these 8kg lightweight yet durable joists create a stable subframe that resists rot, warping, splintering and weather damage, making them the ideal alternative to traditional timber decking joists. Unlike wooden decking joists, composite joists do not require staining, sealing or regular treatment, helping reduce ongoing maintenance costs.

For most composite decking installations, joists are typically installed at approximately 30cm to 35cm centres to provide maximum board support and minimise any movement from the weight or force on top. Proper spacing helps improve stability and prevents decking board sagging over time.
