How Does the Locking Dropbolt Work?
The locking dropbolt is fitted to one leaf of a double swing gate. When the gate is closed, the bolt is lowered into a suitable ground socket or receiving hole.
The locking plate is then rotated around the edge of the gate frame. Once the second swing gate leaf is closed, it prevents the locking plate from rotating back, securing the dropbolt in its lowered position.
