If purchasing the Akuvox E18C intercom without any internal monitor, an Akuvox cloud subscription is required at an additional yearly cost.  However with any monitor there is no licence costs and free app usage for life with no ongoing costs.

Programming and configuration of the intercom can be done on the web http://ecloud.akuvox.com or installation app.
