The new 3196 audiophone includes the standard SIP protocol, which can be paired with VoIP switchboards for audio communication sessions without the need for additional devices. Today, the VoIP telephony system is the most widely used in the business, hospitality, hospital, industrial, and commercial sectors in general, and the 3196 is ideal for all these applications where there are service areas where a telephone is not envisaged and a monitor would be superfluous.

The same is true in residential contexts where additional features may be needed, but a basic, less expensive device is preferred. The 3196 is available for surface installation or tabletop mounintg. It is possible to adjust the call volume (3 levels) and it has 5 buttons that are freely configurable.
