Videx 3162 2 button audiophone

3000 Series low cost intercom audiophone with a reduced number of connection terminals: the local bell terminal end the alarm input terminal are not available.

The push button works on the terminals SW SW (Max 30Vac/dc 0,2A) of the terminal board.

The intercom allows the connection of an optional relay board 402, for the activation of an external sounder : the board is housed inside the intercom and connected to the JP1 (red wire on side +).

It is possible to connect up to 255 of these audiophones on the same system. If required it is possible to give the same address for a max. of 3 intercoms (for applications that require more units in the same apartment). Systems using intercom these models must be audio systems, the digital concierge is not allowed, additional accessories are not allowed  (512D, 512DR, 2204 etc.), other intercom models are not allowed and the door stations must be of “M” type 2203M or 8202. The 3162B has also the switch to enable/disable the privacy service. These intercoms have the LB input terminal for local call, it requires a specific connection for which we suggest to refer to the related diagram
